VTCT/ITEC Skin needling and skin peels are one of the first recognised Aesthetic qualifications. Approved by OFQUAL and meet National Occupational Standards. This a level 4 qualification.
Pre-requisites
VTCT/ITEC set strict pre requisites to ensure learners are on the right course for their abilities
Below qualifications must be recognised, such as BTEC, VTCT, CIBTAC, City and guilds. Insurance regulated quals are not pre requisites
- Beauty Therapy Level 3 minimum
- Regulated L3 Anatomy
- Medical experience/qualifications now practising as an Aesthetic practitioner

- Assignments -can be done distantly
- Case studies (minimum 6 PER qual) must be observed and formatively assessed in centre
- Written exam externally moderated
- Practical final exams externally examined
